Rooted in tradition.
Deeply human.
In a world increasingly shaped by screens and AI, this is an invitation to learn human to human. Inspired by yoga’s long tradition of teacher–student mentorship, we make space for shared practice, honest questions, and the kind of understanding that grows when a teacher truly gets to know you.
You do not need perfect poses or an already-polished teaching voice. Curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to grow matter here.
What we will explore together
Deepen your practice: the foundations of yoga, personal exploration, and thoughtful reflection.
Understand what you teach: anatomy, movement, and purposeful sequencing.
Find your teaching voice: practice guiding others, receive individual feedback, and develop confidence in your own approach.
Built around real connection.
Primarily in person. Weekly practice, teaching-skills sessions, and mentorship with Lauren in Portland. Occasional virtual check-ins provide connection between sessions—not a standing schedule of online classes.
Six to twelve months. We discuss a pace and weekly schedule that fit your learning needs and availability. The final learning plan, meeting location, and schedule are agreed together before enrollment.
Your investment
$12,000–$15,000 for private mentorship, depending on the agreed format. Payment plans are available and discussed together before enrollment.
Three steps to explore the fit
Tell me about you. Share your practice, your goals, how you learn, and your availability through the short application.
Have a conversation. Lauren reviews your application and contacts you about next steps. An interview explores mutual fit—not whether you can perform perfect poses.
Shape the plan together. If it feels right for both of us, we agree on the learning plan, schedule, tuition, and payment arrangements before you commit.
